MY MISSION

At Lewis’s Luxury Grooming, my whole purpose for this business is to allow for a more comfortable and low-stress experience for your dog, and particularly for dogs who feel anxious in a traditional grooming salon. I also want to make the grooming experience as convenient and as easy as possible for clients since it can be time consuming to schedule and travel to an actual salon as well. At Lewis’s Luxury Grooming, I bring top-quality grooming services right to your doorstep, tailored to your dog’s unique needs.

ABOUT ME

My name is William Lewis Holroyd. Before Ive started dog grooming, My journey into the pet care industry started when I was in highschool. When I was a freshman, my mom started working with Almost Home Foundation, which is a pet adoption service. From when I was a freshman to being a senior our family had fostered over 150+ dogs in our household. I would also participate on the weekends for the foundation as a dog handler for the adoption event. I would have a certain amount of dogs with me and would showcase and give them information about the dogs to anyone who was interested is adopting them. After high school, I went to college at SIUC to study Radio & Television. After I graduated, I realized that the industry was not something i wanted to be in and decided to move back to Chicago to figure out what i wanted to pursue. While I was working a a restaurant in the kitchen, I found out about Rover and started doing dog walking and dog sitting as a side hustle. I realized how much I enjoyed doing dog walking and dog sitting, so I then decided to go full time with it. I had my own dog walking and dog sitting business from 2018-2022. By 2022, I lost interest in the business and wanted to switch careers but still wanted to figure out a career in the pet industry. I then found out about dog grooming on youtube and realized this is what I wanted to do. I started at Pups Pet Club and went into their apprenticeship program. After graduating I became the lead groomer of the salon after a year of being full time. Then in late 2024, I joined the second location of the number one rated dog grooming salon in Chicago called Dashing Dog which I’m still apart of.
